Distal penile hypospadias is the most common type of hypospadias in children. Most of the distal hypospadias with or without chordee are repaired in single stage by a surgery known as Tubularised incised plate urethroplasty (TIP urethroplasty) as described by Dr Warren Snodgrass. Hence it is also called as Snodgrass repair.
Dr A.K.Singal is a renowned Pediatric urologist and one of the best hypospadias surgeon's in India. He is the founder of Hypospadias Foundation where he operates children from all over the world.
