I used three ports,one 10mm port in the umblicus and another two 5mm ports in iliac fossa both sides.I used bipolar diathermy or Harmonic to isolate the appendix. After appendectomy ,I changed the 10mm scope to 5mm scope and I remove the appendix through the 10mm port in the umblicus. I may use 5mm scope from begining.
