In this video, bilateral myringotomy was performed to relief pain, intolerable tinnitus and pressure in the middle ear due to acute otitis media complicating acute rhinosinusitis.  Post-operatively, the pain subsided dramatically and hearing and tinnitus improved significantly.  Continuing antibiotic therapy and other symptomatic treatment was continued.  The middle ear fluid was deliberately suctioned.
